Festival musik tahunan Rock Am Ring yang digelar di Jerman pada 4 Juni lalu harus dibatalkan. Alasannya, karena cuaca buruk.

 

Bahkan, sudah ada korban luka sebanyak 80 orang karena badai petir yang menimpa lokasi konser. Lewat akun Facebook resminya, pihak Rock Am Ring akhirnya menjelaskan musibah itu. 

"On the first day of the festival more than 80 visitors were injured by lightning strikes in part and admitted to hospital. Because of the risky situation, we ask you to go back home by Sunday noon. We regret the decision extraordinarily, however, ask you to understand this urgent situation which is due to the bad weather." tulis Rock Am Ring dalam laman facebook resminya. 

Sederet musisi besar padahal bersiap ngerock Rock Am Ring. Mereka diantaranya Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, Tenacious D, Deftones, Biffy Clyro, Bring Me The Horizon hingga Korn tapi mereka udah dipastikan batal tampil. 

 

 

Tak hanya di Jerman, Governors Ball Festival yang digelar di New York pada 5 Juni lalu harus dibatalkan karena cuaca tak mendukung. Sederet musisi kayak Kanye West, Two Door Cinema Club hingga Chvrches dipastikan batal tampil. 

"Sunday, June 5th of Gov Ball 2016 has officially been cancelled, due to severe weather and a high likelihood of lightning in the area. The safety of fans, artists and crew always comes first," tulis pengumuman resmi dari situs Governors Ball Festival.
