Penghargaan Golden Globe Awards 2020 baru saja selesai digelar di Beverly Hills, California, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat. Seperti banyak prediksi orang, Joaquin Phoenix keluar sebagai pemenang Aktor Terbaik.

Jaquin mengalahkan sejumlah aktor papan atas lain yang nggak kalah hebat memerankan karakternya di film masing-masing. Ada Christian Bale (Ford vs Ferrari), Anthony Banderas (Pain and Glory), Adam Driver (Marriage Story) dan Jonathan Pryce yang membintangi The Two Popes.



Sementara, Joker harus menerima kekalahannya di kategori film Drama Terbaik yang dimenangkan 1917. Sam Mendes yang menjadi sutradara 1917 juga bawa pulang piala.
